Summary
After 17 years in prison, Marvin returns to his hometown, Newhall, and finds that his fellow residents have not forgotten the murder he committed. In his run-down home, Marvin's bond with his terminally ill mother, Bernadette, slowly begins to grow again over nightly card games, canned food, and beer. Meanwhile, the Flintow family wants to make sure that Marvin knows he is not welcome in Newhall anymore. Delta, the Flintow's granddaughter, confronts Marvin with hostility, but Marvin finds her interesting, not knowing who she really is.Additional Information
