The desperadoes: A reformed ex-outlaw is framed for a bank robbery, his friend the sheriff helps him escape, and together they bring the real robbers to justice.
The Nevadan: Barclay, a mysterious lone rider, gets entangled with an escaped convict named Tanner, who happens to be hiding a stash of gold. Along the way, he also has to deal with a corrupt landowner.
Santa Fe: Three Southern brothers rob a fourth brother's train out west after the Civil War.
Man in the saddle: Randolph Scott portrays a pioneer of few words and unerring aim who jumps in the saddle when his ex-girl's new husband threatens to ruin his ranch.
