Tijuana story: Courageous newspaper editor Manuel Acosta Mesa tries to take on the mob in Tijuana through his newspaper, reporting on the violence, prostitution and drug sales in the border town. The syndicate, led by Peron Diaz, looks to do whatever it takes to take down Manuel and his paper, using threats and violence.
She played with fire: An insurance investigator runs into an ex-girlfriend, who is still as beautiful as he remembered her but is now married. He soon finds himself involved in arson, blackmail and murder.
Crimson kimono: A murder mystery set in the Little Tokyo section of Los Angeles. An exotic dancer is shot in cold blood, and detectives Charlie Bancroft and Joe Kojaku are put on the case. When the two detectives meet a key witness, both cops fall in love with her, making a hard-to-solve murder even more complicated
Man on a string: A Russian-born movie producer has the background necessary to become an ideal counterspy for the CBI. He agrees to the deception, and, aided by agent Avery, pretends to defect. The only question is how long the producer can keep up the charade?
Case against Brooklyn: A gritty, brutal drama that traces how the police, empowered by the D.A., go about smashing a violent betting syndicate.
