The fourth and final book in the Baby Animals series, Baby Animals with Their Families showcases more than ten species from around the world in different family behaviors and arrangements. Stunning, intimate, full-color photographs by Suzi Eszterhas are each paired with a short sentence highlighting information about the animal. Designed both to be read aloud and for young children to explore independently, this book will encourage readers to make connections between their own families and the animals. Back matter gives further information about Suzi Eszterhas and some behind-the-scenes detail.

Booklist Review: "The latest in the Baby Animals series transports viewers around the world to learn about young animals in the wild. An award-winning wildlife photographer, Eszterhas built her reputation on capturing high-quality images of animal families in their natural settings. Here she introduces families of chimpanzees, elephants, albatrosses, topi antelopes, polar bears, whales, sloths, elephants, cheetahs, and foxes. Each spread features a double-page photo, while some include another, smaller shot of the animals. The text boxes offer context for talking about the scenes. In contrast to the baby elephant, which lives with brothers, sisters, cousins, moms, aunts, and grandmothers, the baby sloth lives with just her mother. In one photo, a little elephant exchanges a trunk hug with an aunt, while in the other, the baby sloth rides on her mother's chest while she hangs, upside down, from a branch. One unusual picture was taken inside a bat-eared fox family's den. On two appended pages of small, captioned photos, Eszterhas introduces herself and comments on her subjects.
