SummaryIn 2006, amidst the decades-long conflict in Northern Ireland, representatives from the two warring factions meet for negotiations. During a detour-filled car ride, Ian Paisley, a conservative British loyalist, and Martin McGuinness, a former Irish Republican Army leader, begin to see each other more as individuals, rather than as enemies--a breakthrough that could finally bring peace to the region.
