Coach Carter: Former Richmond High School basketball star Ken Carter returns to his alma mater as their coach and immediately sets down high standards of accountability that are soon challenged by the players, the school, and the community.
Shaft: The nephew of the original John Shaft, who shares his name, tries to find and protect the sole eyewitness to a murder.
Rules of engagement: Decorated war hero Colonel Terry Childers leads a peacekeeping mission that goes terribly wrong and faces a court martial as a result, but Hays Hodges, who fought with Childers in Vietnam and owes him his life, comes to his defense.
