In this sequel to the 2004 crime drama starring Ving Rhames, James "Animal" Allen (Rhames) is serving a life sentence for murder when he discovers that his son has been framed for murder on the outside. Allen's son is not a killer, yet if he is convicted of committing the crime he has been accused of he could face a severe prison sentence. Now, the only way for Allen to help his boy out is to return to the brutal world of underground fighting. But this time things are different, because as Allen rises through the ranks of the prison fighters he will discover a far-reaching conspiracy to ignite a savage race war between the various gangs who vie for power on the inside. With his son in trouble on the outside and an uncontrollable melee about to erupt on the inside, it seems that the only thing left to do is fight for what's right and hope for the best. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
