Summary
In the four-part Muppet Show story 'The Four Seasons,' Kermit and the gang put on a show to celebrate spring's arrival at the Muppet Theatre. But when special guest - Meredith the Mountain Gorilla - arrives to perform on the Muppet Show, her many admirers compete for her affections ... and chaos ensues. And that's just the tip of the iceberg as Roger Langridge presents more Muppet mania. Collecting: Muppets 1-4
Published Reviews
Booklist Review: "A lot can happen to a Muppet over the course of a year, from love to fame to fighting with a Christmas pudding of death. Langridge's offbeat humor is a perfect fit for the wacky world of The Muppets. His stories embrace randomness, with events happening without much explanation such as a snowstorm in the middle of summer but Langridge ties the tales together with the characters, as their relationships with one another play out both onstage and off. Kids may not get all of the jokes, like a bit of Charles Darwin-Mark Twain humor, but that just makes the stories all the more true to the all-ages spirit of the original show and its multiple movies. The bright, cheerful illustrations are the next best thing to watching the beloved puppets perform. Younger fans may need some help with the wordy text Langridge is not one to talk down to kids but the silly stories offer plenty of fun for families reading together.--Wildsmith, Snow Copyright 2010 Booklist"
