SummaryA docudrama that follows an investigation into the disappearance of Tadashi, a handsome Japanese businessman. The investigation begins with an interview of the man's fiancée, Yoshie, and eventually devolves into a collision of fact and fiction featuring staged scenes and on-camera appearances by the director. Also includes five bonus Imamura films which explore related themes of disappearance and return as well as some of the unhealed wounds of the war years.
