Summary
An adaptation of Madame Butterfly, the tragic romance Harakiri indulged Lang's fascination with Asain culture and Orientialist design. Filmed on the outskirts of Berlin, Lang strived for authenticity, and obtained sets and costumes from the Hamburg Anthropological Museum.Additional Information
