Published Reviews
Booklist Review: "The chronology of this troubled actor's life is reported after an opening chapter that discusses his success in the movie Iron Man. From his antiestablishment upbringing through his periods of commercially viable acting intermixed with other stretches of drug abuse, as well as the making and breaking of his personal partnerships with other film-industry people and his first romantic attachments, the facts are noted and discussed in brevity. Sidebars and color photos are well scattered throughout and notes lead to authoritative sources appended after a time line and a glossary, which provides definitions for some terms that the intended audience might need defined, but omits others that may leave the reader none the wiser (such as what it means when a film grosses a dollar amount). Though the straightforward text is somewhat dry, this entry in the Contemporary Lives series is a suitable fit for research material and a decent choice to slake youth interest in this actor.--Goldsmith, Francisca Copyright 2010 Booklist"
