In 2004, Heisman Trophy winner and professional football running back Ricky Williams traded adulation and a mansion in South Florida for anonymity and a $7 a night tent in Australia. After two failed drug tests and a rumored third failed test, Williams was vilified in the press, and most thought his choice to leave football would ruin his life. Through personal footage and interviews with family, friends, teammates and former coaches, the film follows William's five-year hiatus from football and his soul-searching journey which ultimately leads to redemption.
