Published Reviews
Booklist Review: "It is inevitable in this day and age that even superheroes will occasionally give in to darkness and go too far. Heck, Marvel's Civil War event nearly centered around the idea. Now Daredevil has taken up the leadership of his one-time enemies, a clan of mystical superninja called the Hand, and has declared martial law over his sovereign neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen. It falls to Marvel's street-level heroes to go in and shake some sense into their friend. Cue a massive ninja-superhero battle that includes Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Ghost Rider, Elektra, the Punisher, and the welcome return of Shang-Chi, Master of Kung-Fu. Diggle (The Losers) specializes in probing the dark underbelly of heroism, and Tan slathers shadows around his nimble, sinewy figures. Th. long-lasting repercussion. angle is losing some of its sharpness these days, but that may be the nature of big-event crossovers, which come fast and furious these days (Fear Itself is already underway). Still, there is a huge mainstream readership that thrives on just this stuff.--Karp, Jess. Copyright 2010 Booklist"
