Summary

Lance Clayton is a man who has learned to settle. He dreams of being a rich and famous writer, but has only managed to become an unpopular high school poetry teacher with an insufferable son and a girlfriend who won't publicly acknowledge they're dating. But in the wake of a freak accident, Lance is suddenly faced with all of the fame, fortune and popularity he ever dreamed of-- if only he can live with the knowledge of how he got there.
