Published Reviews
Booklist Review: "PreS.^-Gr.1. This title in the Harper Growing Tree series is set in the rough and tumble of the toddler's world. Chanting words and active pictures show three playful kids, who fall and cry and then find comfort. Lulu is twirling in a tutu, Andrew is racing like a choo-choo, and Zuzu is skipping in Mama's muumuu. When they tumble and get hurt, they scowl and howl ("Oh no! Boo hoo! Andrew's got a boo-boo"); then they feel better with ointment, bandages, and, best of all, kisses and a squeeze from their caregivers. Very young kids will love the exciting games and the catastrophes as much as the soothing solutions, and the silly, rhyming words and bright, jumpy pictures are exactly right for looking at over and over again. --Hazel Rochman"
