Summary
A New York magistrate orders Ichabod Crane to travel to the small town of Sleepy Hollow to investigate two murders. Crane is determined to apprehend the Horseman and prove him to be a flesh-and-blood mortal.
A string of murders are thought by locals to be the work of the Headless Horseman. A New York City official sends Ichabod to Sleepy Hollow to conduct an investigation. Upon his arrival in the small village, Ichabod experiences an unusual introduction to the bewitching Katrina Van Tassel. She is under the influence of Baltus Van Tassel, the richest & most influential man of this tiny community & Lady Van Tassel, Katrina's stepmother & the matriarch of the Van Tassel estate.
