This book addresses many of the dimensions of gender inequality at work, looking at a number of important topics including: pay equity; the impact of feminization on certain professions; and barriers to women′s advancement in corporate hierarchies. These empirical studies include original surveys, secondary analyses of large data sets, historical studies, and ethnographic accounts.
