Published Reviews
Booklist Review: "Gr. 2-3, younger for reading aloud. With his usual combination of witty stories and irresistible illustrations, Marshall brings back Fox, hero of several books in the Easy-to-Read series. Here, Fox gets his comeuppance three times: in a car race, in a comic book scam, and in a Halloween adventure. The last, in which the irresponsible Fox is outfoxed by his resourceful little sister, would be a good choice to read aloud in October. Half the appeal of these funny stories comes from the graphically bold artwork that lights up the pages with lively color and deadpan humor. A welcome treat for Fox fans.
